A customer in Escondido called us and requested a consultation to solve an issue with light control in their formal dining room. In the room, they have two windows and a slider. The two windows face the east and have a wonderful view of Lake Hodges. The slider faces the west and has a view of the hillside.

The homeowner wanted window coverings that matched in the three windows, so our challenge was to find something that could be:

  • Horizontal on the two windows and vertical on the slider.
  • Something that would block direct light but not cover their view of the lake and hillside.
  • Rustic but soft look in the formal dining area.

Provenance Woven Woods were selected because of their natural and colorful look. This product can be made to work horizontal on standard windows and vertical by installing the same fabric as a vertical drapery. [Read more...]

Custom Drapery Panel Installation in Carlsbad CA

This customer had us out to try and cover a couple of odd shaped windows.  She was wanting to block the sun and some of the afternoon heat. We went over many ideas with her, including shutters and blinds. None of those options seemed to fit what she was looking for so we showed her our custom made draperies.  She had Draperies in her last home and really liked the idea. We were able to cover her front specialty-shaped window with some beautiful sheers so she could have some privacy in the day and still see out.
